As leaders across the communications industry, we share a responsibility to affirm the positive and tangible impact of DEI efforts and continue to take action – particularly while a vocal minority continues to garner headlines with misinformation. We are proud to have partnered with key organizations to champion awareness and ongoing support for DEI initiatives through a week-long social media campaign “DEI is Good for Business.”
These partners include: the 4A’s, 4A’s Foundation, ColorComm, Inc., Commission on Public Relations Education, Diversity Action Alliance, Hispanic Public Relations Association, Hold the Press, Institute for Public Relations, The LAGRANT Foundation, Museum of Public Relations, National Black Public Relations Society Inc., Page Society, The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations, PRSA and Voices for AAPI.
With the support of over 50 PR Council member firms, this initiative generated more than 165 posts across LinkedIn and Instagram. These posts highlighted how #DEIisGoodforBusiness by showcasing the tangible benefits of DEI: driving innovation, retaining top talent, and meeting the needs of an increasingly diverse marketplace.
