Nick Langeveld is CEO of emotion analytics company Affectiva. Under Nick’s leadership Affectiva has grown from a technology developed in the MIT Media Lab to the leader in scalable and fully automated facial coding. In the past two years Affectiva has analyzed over 15,000 different pieces of media and advertising for its clients, which include agencies, brands and media platforms. The Company has created the world’s largest database of measured emotion analytics, which now includes over 5 billion emotion data points. Prior to Affectiva Nick worked at media and technology companies including Nielsen, BuzzMetrics and IBM. Nick began his career at Goldman Sachs and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Villanova University.
