Building Stronger ERGs for Lasting Impact
This interactive workshop brings together Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders across the PR Council for a facilitated discussion focused on navigating current challenges and seizing opportunities to sustain and strengthen ERG impact. In a shifting workforce and political climate, the session centers around candid dialogue, strategic reflection, and peer exchange. ERG leaders will explore how to adapt programming, maintain engagement, and continue driving inclusion through their unique communities. The session shares useful frameworks to guide future-focused thinking, resource planning, and leadership development.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, leaders will be able to:
- Assess the Current Landscape: Understand the latest workforce and workplace trends, including political and organizational dynamics impacting ERGs.
- Reflect Through Multiple Lenses: Apply individual, team, and organizational lenses to evaluate the purpose and priorities of their ERGs in 2025.
- Leverage Frameworks for Impact: Utilize the 3 M’s (Messaging, Membership, Momentum) and the 4 P’s (People, Purpose, Programming, Partnership) to guide strategic decisions and program design.
- Engage in Solution-Oriented Dialogue: Participate in community breakouts to discuss shared challenges, exchange promising practices, and identify needs for sustainable ERG leadership and engagement.
- Develop Action-Oriented Commitments: Identify and commit to a specific action that will enhance their ERG’s impact, wellness, or succession planning in the year ahead.

Chelsea C. Williams is a passionate Entrepreneur, Workplace Educator, and Mentor to the next generation workforce. As the Founder & CEO of Reimagine Talent Co. she & her team support employers, education institutions, and nonprofits in spearheading multi-generational workforce & talent development solutions rooted in belonging. Prior to founding Reimagine Talent, Chelsea spent a decade on Wall Street in Global Human Resources at Lazard and Barclays in New York City. Chelsea has served the PR Council as an UNBIAS facilitator and consultant to several member agencies on topics related to managing & leading people and diversity, equity, & inclusion. In 2023, Chelsea was named a national Entrepreneurial Woman of Impact by JP Morgan Chase Commercial Banking and Women Presidents Organization (WPO). Chelsea is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
