We offer 12 weeks parental leave (maternity/paternity/adoption) paid at 100 percent. We offer an additional four week transition for new moms that allows them to come back for two weeks at 20 hrs/week, followed by two weeks at 30 hrs/week (also at 100% pay) before they are back full time. It can be a little challenging because we are a very small agency and we don’t backfill during that time (though we will sometimes bring in a bit of contract support). But we are woman-owned and women-led and we’ve had lots of different experiences with maternity leave at other orgs – good and bad – so we feel it’s important.
