The PRC Next project “To Lead Or Leave: Exploring Public Relations’ Issue With Rising Talent” is a study exploring the factors that contribute to staff retention within public relations and communications firms, and what agencies have in their power to influence as it relates to retention.

The research is based on an online survey of 367 PR professionals in May 2018. All have agency experience currently (350) or within the past 10 years (17). Reflected in the sample was a roughly even split of PR professionals who work in small (50 or less), medium (51-250) and large (250+) firms; across age groups (18-25, 26-30, 31-36, 37+); who are partnered firms single/non-partnered; and who are parents, non-parents, and planning-to-be parents.
