As the arbiter of great creative, Cannes is important to all of us and the work that we do. Post-festival, the PR Council brought together a panel of agency leaders to share key takeaways and insights from the week at Cannes.

The discussion was moderated and hosted by Dale Bornstein, CEO of M Booth and Kim Sample, President of the PR Council. Panelists included Steve Barrett, Editor-in-Chief, PR Week U.S., Jenna Young, Executive Creative Director, Weber Shandwick, Howard Pulchin, Global Creative Director, APCO Worldwide, Barby Siegel, CEO, Zeno Group, and Bret Werner, President, MWW.

The 2019 winners of the U.S. PR Young Lions competition are Amy Jacobson, Digital Production Manager, and Niklas Laabs, Senior Account Director, of Vox Global.

Amy and Niklas created a public relations campaign (view their entry here) based on a brief from End Allergies Together (E.A.T.) provided by National CineMedia (NCM), the Cannes Lions partner for the USA.

The winning team attended the Cannes Lions Festival to participate in the global Young Lions competition on behalf of the USA, sponsored by the PRC.
